Oniscus asellus

These are one of the larger species of isopods, and the adults can live a few years. They eat dead leaves, dog food, fruits and veggies. The substrate is coconut fiber and Zoo med jungle mix. I keep them moist. They have been breeding like bunnies for me, though some people report having problems with breeding this species. I started with only a dozen, and I now have well over 70 of them!
