My female
Polyphaga aegyptiaca have been laying many oothecae, I heard this species was prolific, but this is just crazy! They seem to lay about 1 ootheca a week, maybe 2. I can't wait until they hatch! Unfortunately my male has disappeared, whether it died or escaped is unknown. However, females can retain sperm for long periods of time, so I am not too worried about that. Plus, my last remaining nymph is male, so they will have an adult male in a matter of months to mate with. Anyway, here are some pictures of the ootheca!

So hopefully in 5-7 months I will have some babies! :) I hope you guys enjoyed, and I will see you next time!
